Bowden’s first settlers had a vision for their new community: to contribute to the fabric of the State by mass creating the goods and chattels of a modern life.
Bowden has left behind its industrial past to find a new artisanal sensibility re-emerging in its wake, and a return to the crafters, designers, artisans, recyclers, upcyclers and handmakers of pre-industry.
At The Artisan, you have a ringside seat to the best of Bowden — Kevin Taylor Park, Bowden Town Square, Entertainment Centre, cafes, bars, the tram and trains as well as the parklands.
A green oasis next to bicycle parking facilities and integrated timber seating allow residents to meet, relax and take in their surroundings.
Black steel, reclaimed red brick and glass windows frame the courtyard and lobby at The Artisan while providing a focal point for a local artist’s masterpiece.
The art of living.
